Beaufort’s popular playground includes a splash pad, playground, shade areas, walking paths, a picnic shelter and public restroom facilities. The walking paths connect the park to the basketball and tennis courts. The park is located in the center of Beaufort.

The Park is home to the Town’s monthly Art in the Park program. Art in the Park is geared towards children of all ages and offers art projects and snacks. The program is free and no registration is required.

The splash pad is open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. from May-Sept. weather permitting. The picnic pavilion is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations required.

The park is named in honor of the late Louis Randolph Johnson Jr.
