SIGNATURE EVENT: The parade always draws some of the most creative minds in town, including Beaufort’s very own Sweet Potato Queens decked out in their crazy costumes. Featured in the New York Times, Beaufort’s own Sweet Potato Queens are one reason why Travel + Leisure named Beaufort one of the “Quirkiest Towns in America.”

The parade begins at 10 am on Front Street in downtown Beaufort.
