Best known for its kayak launching area, Fishermen’s Park includes a fishing dock with a kayak launch as well as a small sandy beach that’s ideal for kayaks and canoes. With great views of Taylor’s Creek, is a great spot to enjoy the local wildlife and the ample local waters.

Fishermen’s Park is on Front Street at the end of Gordon Street, a quieter corner from downtown Beaufort.

The kayak storage rack holds more than 30 small kayaks and canoes. Spaces are assigned via an annual small vessel lottery conducted every March by the Town of Beaufort. www.beaufortnc.org

Fishermen’s Park is “dedicated to the generations of Beaufort fishermen who have worked these waters” and is home to a Menhaden memorial marker.
